Featuring a more powerful 8-core CPU, the M3 is up to 35 percent faster for multithreaded CPU workflows than M1. M3 features a 9-core GPU with up to 40 percent faster graphics performance over M1.

For the first time, M3 brings Apple's advanced graphics architecture to the iPad Air. Dynamic Caching only uses the exact amount of memory needed for each task, which dramatically increases the average utilization of the GPU, resulting in significant performance increases for the most demanding pro apps and games.
