The CMF Speaker S is a portable Bluetooth speaker from CMF by Nothing. It uses a 45 mm full-range driver with two passive radiators and produces 10W RMS output in a 334 g body that measures 130.5 × 85 × 44 mm. It is the smaller of the two CMF speakers; the larger CMF Speaker M has a 35W two-way driver system. GearyBD sells the Speaker S in Bangladesh as part of its CMF by Nothing range and its Bluetooth speakers category.

Sound and app controls

The Speaker S has a frequency response of 70 Hz to 20 kHz and offers Ultra Bass and Wide Soundstage sound modes with adaptive tuning. The Nothing X app (Android and iOS) provides four EQ presets (Balanced, More Bass, More Treble and Voice) and a custom EQ. A physical knob controls volume, play and pause, and track skipping, and separate buttons handle power, Bluetooth pairing and Auracast.

Battery and charging

The 2,600 mAh battery is rated for up to 18 hours of playback at 50% volume with Ultra Bass on, measured over AAC. A 10-minute charge gives up to 1 hour of playback, and a full charge takes about 2.5 hours through the USB-C port with a 5V/3A adapter. A power adapter is not included in the box.

Connectivity

The speaker uses Bluetooth 6.0 with a stated range of up to 100 m in open space and can stay connected to two devices at once. It supports NFC tap-to-pair, Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair, and it works with Android phones, iPhones, iPads, laptops and tablets. A USB-C cable connection provides wired digital audio with latency under 60 ms for films and gaming on a PC. Stereo Mode pairs two Speaker S units as a left and right pair, and Party Mode uses Auracast to link compatible speakers. A Speaker S cannot be paired with a Speaker M.

Design and durability

The Speaker S has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, lab-tested for immersion in fresh water up to 1.5 m for 30 minutes. It is not designed for intentional submersion. A built-in carabiner hook lets you clip it to a bag, and the front panels are removable. It is available in Dark Grey, White, Orange and Turquoise.
