The Tab 4 8 Plus from Lenovo is a compact Android Nougat tablet that enables you to stay connected online virtually everywhere utilizing LTE technology. To run the Android 7.1 operating system, the Tab 4 8 Plus is armed with a 2.0 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core system-on-chip and 2GB of RAM. With this SoC, a Qualcomm Adreno 506 graphics chipset is used to deliver smooth, detailed visuals to the 8" IPS display, which offers a native resolution of 1920 x 1200 and wide-viewing angles. The 8" touchscreen supports 10-point multi-touch features and has a maximum brightness level of 390 cd/m². Furthermore, having an 8" screen size allows the Tab 4 8 Plus to be palm friendly while providing a larger onscreen workspace than a typical smartphone.
Lenovo lets you connect the Tab 4 8 Plus online in many ways by outfitting it with 802.11ac Wi-Fi (MU-MIMO supported) as well as 4G LTE technology, which requires a separately available cellular data plan. The tablet comes with two SIM slots and accepts nano-sized SIM cards. Other notable connectivity features include Bluetooth 4.1 + LE along with a combo audio jack and USB Type-C port, which sports a reversible design for connecting the included USB-C cable on the first try. There's also a built-in FM tuner for tuning into local radio stations.
Aside from connectivity, the Tab 4 8 Plus is equipped with a 5MP front-facing camera and 8MP rear camera for conducting face-to-face conversations and capturing the environment, respectively. To complete the video conferencing experience, a microphone along with two front-facing speakers are on board. For storing images, videos, and apps, the tablet provides 16 GB of internal storage and a built-in microSD card slot that can accommodate user-supplied memory cards up to 128GB in capacity. Moreover, an integrated fingerprint sensor allows you to quickly unlock the tablet and make app purchases without typing your password.
